U.S. Special Operations Command Selects GMP for U.S. and Foreign Weapons, Ammunition and Personal Protective Equipment Contract
TAMPA, Fla. (Sept. 21, 2026) — Global Military Products (GMP) has been selected as one of multiple contractors for a new U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract covering the procurement of U.S. and foreign weapons, ammunition and personal protective equipment. As a contract holder, GMP will have the opportunity to compete for individual delivery orders throughout the five-year, $19.5 million contract.

GMP’s selection builds on the company’s experience supporting U.S. government, defense and international customers with the sourcing, supply and delivery of defense materiel, including mortar systems, U.S. and foreign-made sniper rifles, assault rifles, machine guns, grenade launchers, anti-armor weapons, ammunition, electro-optics and weapon accessories.
Through its global supplier network and established logistics capabilities, GMP is well positioned to support time-sensitive requirements and complex international procurement efforts. Beyond procurement, the contract calls for associated program management, logistics support, testing and packaging requirements.
